FAQs about coaching
What happens in a coaching session?
Each session is a focused, confidential conversation centered on what matters most to you right now. We slow things down, explore what’s beneath the surface, identify patterns, and clarify next steps. Sessions are reflective, practical, and designed to support insight and intentional action.
How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching is forward-focused and growth-oriented. While therapy often addresses healing from past experiences, coaching emphasizes awareness, choice, and movement toward a preferred future. Coaching does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions.
Do you give advice or tell me what to do?
No. Coaching isn’t about being told what to do. My role is to ask thoughtful questions, offer presence, and help you access your own clarity and wisdom so you can make decisions that align with your values and goals.
Who is coaching for?
Coaching is for people who are reflective, curious, and ready to grow. It’s especially helpful for those navigating leadership challenges, transitions, uncertainty, or a desire for greater alignment and confidence in how they lead and live.
What kinds of topics can we work on?
Coaching can support a wide range of areas, including leadership, decision-making, personal growth, boundaries, transitions, mindset shifts, and navigating complex or challenging situations. You set the agenda.
How often do we meet?
Most clients meet biweekly or monthly, depending on their goals and availability. We’ll discuss a rhythm that supports meaningful progress without feeling overwhelming.
How long does coaching last?
Coaching is typically offered in packages to support continuity and depth. Many clients commit to several months to allow time for reflection, insight, and sustained growth.
Is coaching confidential?
Yes. Coaching conversations are confidential and held in a space of trust and respect, aligned with professional coaching ethics.
What if I’m not sure coaching is right for me?
That’s completely normal. An introductory conversation allows you to ask questions, explore what you’re looking for, and decide whether coaching feels like a good fit—no pressure or obligation.
What results can I expect from coaching?
Clients often experience greater clarity, increased self-awareness, stronger confidence, and more intentional decision-making. Outcomes vary, but many find coaching helps them lead with more alignment and purpose.
